Just what we needed today

At last a solid performance from a West Ham defence. Anyone looking at today's line would have been expecting to lose. Our attack was toothless and I'm afraid that without a decent striker in the side we will not score many goals. However, whether by good fortune or efficient planning we came up with a way of completely nulifying Everton. Not a great game I know but not losing was so lmportent today and we didn't really ever look like losing. Well done Slav.
Finally high five to Ginge. He was immense today.

Old Geez i make you right there I went yesterday expecting the worse and with such a depleted side feared a caning but the way we played and the spirit shown was uplifting
I still think we need a couple of points to be sure of survival so a win at Stoke will be welcome

The whole point of the thread was that after a dissapointing season when with a only few games left we were still not safe it was so important not to lose. With so many injuries we needed a strong defence and get the points needed. If this was the start of the season then I would be upset with a somewhat negative performance but as a passionate supporter I just want to see us safe. Let's stay up and go again next season..

If you would have offered all Hammers fans a point at the start of the game I think over 75% would have bitten your arm off.
West ham have a quite a few players out so a point even against a pretty crap Everton has to be seen as a positive, put it this way its better than nothing and West Ham have given us Nothing to celebrate for a heck of a lot of this season.

Everton didn't turn up for once pal.
And we still struggled..
Any decent side would have took these to the cleaners..which they deserved by the way.

Looked very solid as a back three - nullified Lukaku and Berkkey very well.

OTB, I agree we came forward quite well, just lacked quality in the final third.
We need a couple of top strikers obviously, they cost a lot so won't hold my breathe.
